The Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, is an art museum in Madrid, located near the Prado Museum at one of city’s main Boulevards. It is known as part of the Golden Triangle of Art, which also includes the Prado and the Reina Sofia national galleries.

The Thyssen-Bornemisza fills the historical gaps in its counterparts’ collections: in the Prado’s case this includes Italian primitives and works from the English, Dutch and German schools, while in the case of the Reina Sofia it concerns Impressionists, Expressionists and European and American paintings from the second half of the 20th century.

Later on visit to The Museum of Reina Sofia, Art Museum of the twentieth Century and Contemporary Art. In the museum’s permanent collection features a core of works by great Spanish artists of the twentieth century, especially Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali and Joan Miro widely represented with some of his best works.

Very relevant are the collections of Surrealist art, Cubism (Picasso collection that adds names like Juan Gris, Georges Braque, Robert Delaunay, Fernand Leger O Albert Gleizes, and the presence of expressionist artists like Francis Bacon and Antonio Saura. Visit the Museum of the Lope de Vega House, where the writer lived the last 25 years of his life. Located in the C / Cervantes of Madrid you will admire the various personal items, furniture and artwork as well as the small Oratorio, The Dining Room, the room where he died or his studio, which preserves an important bibliographic heritage of the seventeenth century. After this visit we go to the C / Martinez Campos where the Sorolla Museum House is located.

The building, surrounded by its garden, is one of the few witnesses of what palaces of Paseo de la Castellana and their immediate areas were. Sorolla began to inhabit the house in 1911. The house has spacious studios with overhead light in their work; a home area of representation, luxurious and elegant; and a private home area plus abundant service spaces

It also has an “Andalusian patio” (Andalusian Yard) with tiles and pots; and a garden with Italian and Andalusian appointments, memories of the Alcázar of Seville and the Alhambra in Granada.
The same house must be seen as another piece of the artist, where you can admire many of his works.
