In this tour you will discover all the main places of Madrid. You will visit places like Fuente de Cibeles, Puerta de Alcala, Plaza de Oriente and Plaza Mayor. You will also visit the Palacio Real, the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum or Sorolla Museum.


DAY 1 CITY OF ORIGIN – MADRID

Arrival at the Airport Adolfo Suarez Madrid Barajas
Transfer to the Hotel.

Departure from the Hotel for a sightseeing of Madrid highlights, including the most famous places such as the Fuente de Cibeles, Puerta de Alcala, Paseo de la Castellana, Recoletos, Atocha Station, Prado Museum, the Gran Via, Plaza de España, Temple of Debod, the modern Madrid with the 4 Towers, Puerta de Europa, Torres Kio, the business area of Azca, Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, Nuevos Ministerios, etc.

After there will be a walking tour of the Paseo del Arte for discovering all details, the hidden histories of the most beautiful places of Madrid, where Art, Monuments, Nature and Architecture meet.

You will make a tour of Plaza de Oriente, Calle Bailen, , Calle Mayor, Plaza y Casa de la Villa, Casa de Cisneros, Torre de los Luajanes, Convento de Carboneras, Mercado de
San Miguel and Plaza Mayor.

DAY 2 MADRID

Breakfast at the Hotel
Departure to go to the Palacio Real for visiting it.

The Royal Palace was built in the XVIII Century and it is considered one of the most important Royal Palaces of the world especially for its interior decoration rich in Carpets, Lamps, Clocks and Furniture

You will visit the Official Saloons, highlighting the Throne Room (Salón de el Trono), the Hall of Columns (Salon de Columnas), the Dining Room (Comedor de Gala) and the Porcelain Cabinet. It is currently used for official acts of the Kings and Gala dinners for foreign leaders.


During the evening visit the Prado Museum, one of the most important art galleries of the world. It hosts halls dedicated to the great masters of the Spanish School such as Goya, Velazquez, El Greco, Zurbaran, etc.

DAY 3 MADRID

Departure to the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum for visiting it.

The Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, is an art museum in Madrid, located near the Prado Museum at one of city’s main Boulevards. It is known as part of the Golden Triangle of Art, which also includes the Prado and the Reina Sofia national galleries.

The Thyssen-Bornemisza fills the historical gaps in its counterparts’ collections: in the Prado’s case this includes Italian primitives and works from the English, Dutch and German schools, while in the case of the Reina Sofia it concerns Impressionists, Expressionists and European and American paintings from the second half of the 20th century.

Later on visit to The Museum of Reina Sofia, Art Museum of the twentieth Century and Contemporary Art. In the museum’s permanent collection features a core of works by great Spanish artists of the twentieth century, especially Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali and Joan Miro widely represented with some of his best works.

Very relevant are the collections of Surrealist art, Cubism (Picasso collection that adds names like Juan Gris, Georges Braque, Robert Delaunay, Fernand Leger O Albert Gleizes, and the presence of expressionist artists like Francis Bacon and Antonio Saura. Free afternoon and overnight at the Hotel

DAY 4 MADRID

Visit the Museum of the Lope de Vega House, where the writer lived the last 25 years of his life. Located in the C / Cervantes of Madrid you will admire the various personal items, furniture and artwork as well as the small Oratorio, The Dining Room, the room where he died or his studio, which preserves an important bibliographic heritage of the seventeenth century. After this visit we go to the C / Martinez Campos where the Sorolla Museum House is located.

The building, surrounded by its garden, is one of the few witnesses of what palaces of Paseo de la Castellana and their immediate areas were. Sorolla began to inhabit the house in 1911. The house has spacious studios with overhead light in their work; a home area of representation, luxurious and elegant; and a private home area plus abundant service spaces

It also has an “Andalusian patio” (Andalusian Yard) with tiles and pots; and a garden with Italian and Andalusian appointments, memories of the Alcázar of Seville and the Alhambra in Granada.
The same house must be seen as another piece of the artist, where you can admire many of his works.

Free afternoon or optional visits to other museums.

DAY 5 MADRID

Breakfast at the hotel.
Free day in Madrid for shopping and have a walk in the historical city, its monuments as well as its gardens.

DAY 6 MADRID – CITY OF DESTINATION

Free morning in Madrid till the time of the transfer to the Airport for the departure
flight.
